Must possess a Diploma in Automobile Engineering of three years duration or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of three years duration awarded by any Institutuion recognised by the Central Government or State Government; OR a degree in Automobile Engineering from a University established by law or a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University established by law. B.tec(automobile Engineering) or B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering) from a legally established University as per the clarification of the Departmen. (Most Important Document Required) |

Physical Fitness : Must possess the following minimum physical standards.
| Men | For Men Height : 168 Cms Chest girth : 86 Cms when fully expanded (minimum expansion must be 5Cms) |
| Women | For Women Height : 157 Cms Weight : 49 kg |
| Men & Women (Common standards) | (a) Vision: Must have the following standard distant near vision with or without glasses. (i) Distant Vision Better eye Worse eye 6/9 or 6/9 6/9 6/12 (ii) Near Vision 0/6 0/8 Each eye must have full field vision. Squinting, color blindness, or any other pathological condition affecting the eyes or lids of either eye will disqualify the candidate. b) Hearing: (i) Rinner’s test (ii) Webber’s test (iii) Test for vertigo Any defects observed during the test mentioned above shall be a disqualification.
