Eligibility and Qualifications to Apply for KPTCL Posts
| SSLC pass or CBSE / ICSE Board 10th Pass. |
| But these qualifications should be studied and passed from educational institutes of Karnataka state. Other than the above mentioned qualification, no other parallel qualification will be considered. External or Open University, Open School Class 10th pass will not be considered. The said qualification should have passed mark sheet by the last date of application. In case those who have written the examination of the said qualifications and are waiting for the result are not eligible to apply. |
Other Qualifications for KPTCL Posts
| Must have knowledge of reading/writing in Kannada. |
| Should have satisfactory eyesight. |
| Should have satisfactory physique. |
| Must be able to perform heavy work such as digging holes, climbing towers or poles, carrying heavy objects, installing wires, changing poles, etc. And must qualify in Endurance Test. |
Age Qualification for KPTCL Posts
| Must be at least 18 years of age to submit application. |
| Candidates with general qualification should not exceed 35 years maximum age. |
| Other Backward Classes should not be above 38 years. |
| Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste / Category-1 candidates should not be above 40 years. |
Candidates who wish to apply are eligible to apply for KPTCL or Electricity Supply Companies, any one of these companies only.

Salary Details for KPTCL Posts
Consolidated Remuneration (First 3 Years / Per Monthly)
1st year: Rs.17,000.
2nd year: Rs.19,000.
3rd year: Rs.21,000
Candidates will be posted in the pay scale of Rs.28,550-63000 after satisfactory completion of 3 years training. Then here too he will be placed on probation for two years. Regarding KPTCL Recruitment Process – Candidates who applied for these posts will be selected based on aptitude tests and qualifying marks.
