Eligibility Criteria (As of 01 July 2025)
- Age Limit: 21 to 30 years
(Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PWD – up to 15 years) - Education: Completion of any course of study at an accredited university
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank
- Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in the local language of the state applied for
Not Eligible: Experience from NBFCs, Small Finance Banks, Fintechs, or Cooperative Banks will not be considered.
Salary & Benefits
- Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – ₹85,920 (JMG Scale-I) + allowances
- Increment for Experience: One advance increment for 1+ years of eligible banking experience
- Probation: 1 year
- Bond: ₹5,00,000 (plus tax) for a minimum service period of 3 years
Selection Process
The selection will be done through a multi-stage process:
- Online Written Test (120 marks)
- English Language – 30 marks
- Banking Knowledge – 30 marks
- General/Economic Awareness – 30 marks
- Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude – 30 marks
- Psychometric Test
- Language Proficiency Test (if applicable)
- Group Discussion / Personal Interview
Note: Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
