| Educational Qualification Prescribed for the Post of Assistant Controller & Audit Officer |
| The requirements state that one must possess a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com. ), an M.B.A. in Finance, an M.B.A. in Financial Management, an M.B.A./M.Com. in Financial Analysis, or any other Master’s degree from an Indian university established by law that includes “Finance” as one of the subjects, as announced by the University Grants Commission. Additionally, one must be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or an Associate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. With the caveat that applicants who have taken an exam, the results of which have not yet been released, and if they pass would make them educationally qualified for a preliminary examination held by the Commission, may also be admitted to said preliminary examination. When applying for the Main Examination, candidates who have been deemed qualified by the Commission for it must upload documentation of their passing the prerequisite exam; otherwise, they will not be allowed to take the Main Examination. |
